Marblehead Opticians Update

The new in-wall, saltwater aquarium at Marblehead Opticians is now full of water and running 100%. We added a 2” live sand bed using our own cultured live sand and branching live rock from Fiji. The tank now is in the cycling and settling stage. We will let the water circulate and filter for a week before adding the first livestock. I first posted about this tank back in Jan 2011. Here are some recent pics. This system is really coming along. We add new livestock each month per the clients request. They are involved in the livestock selection and care. We added a moderate sand bed, branching and unique live rock and a few synthetic corals. We have been steadily adding fish, corals and invertebrates to the new 120 gallon reef in Beverly, MA that was installed a couple months ago. It is developing quickly and quite beautifully. Imagine An Ocean has been caring for this 90 gallon REEF READY aquarium with T5 lighting, custom sump, and auto top off system for the last three years.
